Walk-up check-in on tryout day

A family that did not sign up ahead can check in from the field on their own phone, by scanning a code on yours.

1. On the tryout’s Check in tab, tap Walk-up QR. Show the family the code; it lasts about 12 hours.
2. They sign in with Apple or Google (that is their account from now on), confirm their name, enter a mobile number (email comes from the sign-in), tick the guardian box, and pick or add their player.
3. The player is checked in and on your board like everyone else.

4. If that didn’t work

   No signal for the family? They can type the short code shown under the QR once they have signal. Coaches cannot add a walk-up by hand; it has to come through the QR or code.
