Athlio

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 22, 2026

Athlio (“we”, “us”) helps youth baseball and softball families and coaches find teams, tryouts, tournaments, pickups, and lessons. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Because Athlio serves youth sports, we take the privacy of children especially seriously.

Information we collect

We collect the account details you provide (name, email, and role), the profiles you create for yourself and your players (sport, birth year, positions, skill level, city/state, and an optional photo), and the listings and signups you create or respond to. We also collect basic device and usage information to operate and improve the service.

Players and minors

Player profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian’s account. A player may only have their own login — required to join team or group chats — if they are 13 or older. Player photos are stored privately and are only shared through short-lived signed links with people you choose to share them with.

How we use information

We use your information to operate Athlio: to show relevant teams and listings near you, to let coaches and families connect, to power messaging, and to send notifications you opt into. We do not sell your personal information.

What others can see

Team, tryout, tournament, pickup, and lesson listings are visible to other Athlio users so families can find them. Your email address is never shown to other users. You control who is added to group and team chats.

Data security

Data is protected with row-level security and encryption in transit. Sensitive media, such as player photos, lives in private storage accessible only through signed URLs.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profiles and listings at any time, control notification preferences, and request deletion of your account. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
