Not getting push notifications

EveryoneUpdated October 2026

Pushes need permission on the phone and the switches inside the app. Either one off means silence. The app is listed as Athlio in phone settings.

  1. On iPhone: Settings › Notifications › Athlio. Turn on Allow Notifications.
  2. On Android: Settings › Apps › Athlio › Notifications. Turn them on.
  3. In the app: Profile › Notifications. Turn on the switches you want: Messages, Schedule, Team, Tryouts, Player reports and Parents & guardians. Tryouts & pickup spots is under Teams you follow.
  4. If you tapped Don’t allow when the app first asked, the phone’s Settings are the only way to turn it back on.
  5. Close the app fully and reopen it once; it re-registers for pushes on launch.
  6. If that didn’t work

Focus modes and Scheduled Summary on iOS can hold notifications; check Settings › Focus. On Android, battery saving can delay them: Settings › Apps › Athlio › Battery › Unrestricted. A teen’s own login does not get pushes about teams the family follows; those go to the parent’s phone.
