What the app asks permission for, and why
Athlio asks for three things. Photos and location are asked for the first time you use them; notifications are asked for when you first sign in. Saying no never locks you out.
- Photos: to upload a team logo or player photo, and to save a chat photo you tap Save on. Never the camera or microphone.
- Location (approximate): to fill in your city and state, and to show how far away tryouts and teams are. Only while the app is open; we do not track where you are.
- Notifications: for messages, schedule changes, sign-ups and reminders. Choose the kinds in Profile › Notifications.
- Change any of them later in iPhone Settings › Athlio, or Android Settings › Apps › Athlio › Permissions. (The app is listed as Athlio in phone settings.)
